The Password Depot Server Module is an extension to Password Depot. 
Using this module, clients can simultaneously use one or more 
identical password lists on a server in the network. The Password  
Depot basic application works as a client in this case.                   
                                       
The Server Module is installed on a computer on the local network, 
where the administrator sets up users and assigns access right for 
each password list added.                            
                                       
Authorized users can access the  password files on the server for 
which they have the corresponding access rights using the Password 
Depot basic application. To do so, they require the server's IP 
address and port, as well as the access data (user name and 
password) defined by the administrator.
                                       
The clients can download the password lists from the server as 
local copies and use the included passwords. The  clients can 
modify the passwords -  however, they need to synchronize the  
local copy with the copy on the server.Password Depot Server 
locks the files on the server while they are modified,so that it 
is not possible for different users to make changes simultaneously, 
and conflicts are avoided.
